Can you believe January is almost half way over already? Seriously, I can hardly keep up anymore. These last few weeks, I’ve had my youngest grand daughter over every day during the work week and at 2 1/2, she keeps me on my toes… quite literally. It makes me thankful I was a very young mom, which meant I was a young Oma and I can sorta keep up!
During my down time, which hasn’t been much, I did manage to make y’all this cute little cards that was living in my hear for a few weeks. I loved this set from the start, and knew it had to be embossed. I stepped out of my comfort zone a little and used the Merry Merlot. Normally, that’s a bit dark for me, but I feel it just fits perfectly with the Copper Foil sheets. I love how blending the Merry Merlot ink on the center of the leaf feels like it pulls the whole card together. The Brushed Brass Butterflies are just the perfect accent for this too. I’m so glad this card worked! lol I’ve had a few that just bombed! To quote The A Team: “I love it when a plan comes together”
Oh my, it’s almost 11 pm already, and I haven’t even had my last cup of coffee for the night. (Yes, I can drink coffee at night and still get some sleep.) I hope to be back very soon with another card I already have made but need to post for y’all.
