Welcome to the Any Occasion Card blog hop.

Hello my Crafty Partners in Creativity and welcome to the Any Occasion challenge card hop! This week’s card was a challenge for me. Not because the theme was hard, but because I had been busy working on clearing my computer files and I got so wrapped up in it. Going from admin stuff to creative stuff is a hard shift for me! I ended up stumped three quarters of the way through. I had to finish up yesterday! Hopefully, the card is up to standards!

What I used

I have labeled the items I used for my card.

June 2026 Blogger’s Choice card

First card

To get started on this one, my card base is Balmy Blue. I wanted the card base to resemble the sky! I added stamped leaves to keep it from being too plain. Shimmering Stripes Specialty paper is used behind the Pecan Pie card stock that embossed with the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder I used the brayer to add Crumb Cake on top. I put the Peaceful Pine ribbon on the Pecan Pie card stock and added it to the card base.

The 5 leaves are stamped on Peaceful Pine card stock with Shaded Spruce ink, then punched them out. Next, I punched out a banner for the sentiment using the Rounded Rectangle Punch. I added the leaves and the banner with dimensionals and added the butterfly from the Gilded Wings Accents (apparently, they are retired, I didn’t know that until I started blogging this). Finally, I added some of the Antique Pearls for a little extra pizzazz for the card.

Inside Card

Normally, I do a little more the inside of the card. Yesterday, I was a bit tired after chasing chickens and goats and just wanted to make sure I got the card finished! A simple little stamp of the leaf on the inside was pretty much all I could manage to add.

I have times when I question if my chosen hobby/business is making a difference. Then, I send a card to a friend and hear back from the person who got it. They remind me that being thought of for no reason at all can truly lift a person’s spirits. Perhaps it could be nice to make a card to share with the one person you haven’t thought of in a while. You don’t know how much it will mean to them!
