Welcome to the August’s POTM blog hop.

Hello my Crafty Partners in Creativity and welcome to August’s POTM blog hop. Each month, if you purchase $75 US in product, you can purchase the Product of the Month for $5. July’s Product of the Month was the Begonia Belle Stamp Set.

I did it again! This month’s card features last month’s POTM, but it is still available. I was stunned to see that last month’s and this month’s are the only ones that are still available.

What I used

I have labeled the items I used for my card.

August’s POTM card

Front of card

This card is extremely simple. I did a standard A4 card, and cut on the diagonal for the card front. I stamped the first floral image in Crisp Cantaloupe and thee second in Barely Blush. For the leaves, I did some masking. I stamped the outer flower image on a post it note and cut it out. Be sure to stamp and cut over the sticky part of the post it. I stamped over the post in note with Old Olive, and stamped the second image in Garden Green. The sentiment was stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe and placed on the small piece of Basic White card stock and placed it on the bottom of the card front.

Looking inside the card

I decided to used DSP as a background on the inside of a card as a frame for the Basic White card stock. I wanted it to come though the small hole left in the front of the card. The flower on the bottom was stamped with Crisp Cantaloupe and Garden Green. Considering that I never used to do anything to the inside of my cards, I think this one was rather festive! lol
