Balcony Card Technique Card – SWFBH

Thanks for hopping with us.

Hello Crafty Friends! Welcome to the Balcony Card Technique Hop. I love learning new techniques and this one really challenged me, both in my crafting skills and my patience levels! It took me so long to figure out how I wanted to put it together, and once I did, then the real fun began! I had to work to get this card from my vision to finished project!

First, I used Rachel Tessman’s template to learn how to make this. I’d never seen it before. Then, I picked the Garden Meadow Suite to bring this card to life. (It’s being released on the 7th of this month in the Online Exclusives.) From there it was all guess work! haha

I creased the DSP (designer series paper) before placing it on the card. In order to insure that it was placed correctly, I used the Multi-purpose glue to give it wiggle room so it could settle where it needs so it can close properly. Next I added the fences. There are flaps holding the fences to the card. I hid them with the side strips of DSP and added some cute die cuts to cover the edges where I glued the fences to the flaps. I don’t like rough spots showing, if I can help it.

This card was a ton of fun to make and I hope that you got some inspiration from it! Now, please continue on with the hop following the person next in line!

Until next time, Stay Crafty Friends!
