Hello my Crafty Friends!
Welcome back for another journey through the Color Combo Blog Hop. So many lovely projects and loads of talent in this group of demos! Please follow along and remember to let the ladies know how you liked their masterpieces.
My card today was a little more involved than I usually tend to go. If you’ve been following me for a bit, you know that I stay more one the simple side of crafting. (My husband begs to differ! lol) For this project, I wanted to try a new card fold. When I made that decision, I had no idea that this card would take on a life of it’s own. lol

I used the Tulip Fields and Biggest Wish stamp sets for this card. This fold is normally done standing up, but I wanted to give the tulips some extra space. After getting to see them in person years back, it was fun to play with this set and make something that made me smile every time I look at it.
The colors for this project are Real Red, Gorgeous Grape, and Pale Papaya. I love this combo, even though I am not really a big fan of bolder colors. These colors were perfect for this card. I cut the Basic White card stock then stamped it as one sheet before assembling the card. While I’m not the greatest at lining up stamps, it turned out ok. I loved that I used the ever single die from the coordination dies, except the bike.
I added the fences to the fields as snow barriers, but also to camouflage a smudge that happened after the card was already finished. I have not idea how that always happens to me. I would have started all over when I first started crating, but I’ve learned that mistakes are just an invitation for embellishment! 😀
I hope that you enjoyed this card, and that you enjoy the rest of the blogs on this hop. From here, you will be heading to Natalie Albers’ blog for the next project.
