Welcome to the Color Combination Challenge blog hop with the Ink Stamp Share hoppers.

Hello Craft Loving Friends and thanks for joining us on the Color Combination blog hop for February.

To be totally honest with y’all, I had to scramble to make this card. I misread what the blog hop was for this week and I made the card for the end of the month instead! Here, I was so proud of myself for being on time for once! I should have known better!

Card Set Up

The card base for this card is Basic White. I also used Basic White for the card front and the sentiment banner. The paint strips were added using the new Stampin’ Positioner. I am really getting a lot of use out of that already. Placing the stripes equally apart was way easier than if I had tried to eyeball it.

I used all four colors for the stripes. The paint brushes were stamped in Smoky Slate, and I added the color of each paint stripe to the edges of the brushes using a block. I roughed up the edges of the card front and sentiment banner, then ran them over the stamp pads to add color to the edges. I added both to the card using dimensionals.

My dots are from the Moody Palette Glossy dots. I used the blends for each color to add color to the white dots, then added them to the card.

Inside of Card

The inside is simple. I added one paint brush and some Peach Pie to the top and a few little splatters on the bottom in Misty Moonlight. I am trying really hard to make sure to never leave the inside naked.
