Hey Crafty Friends! It’s time for another 2 Moore Stampers Color Combo Challenge – March! March’s colors are Pool Party, Blackberry Bliss, Soft Succulent, Very Vanilla, and Daffodil Delight. 5 colors is a lot for a card, but you really don’t have to use much of any color for it to count.
For my card, I used the Blackberry Bliss for the card base, and the Daffodil Delight as the card front. I added the Cottage Rose stamp as the focal point on the bottom of the card. I added some die cut flowers behind the card front to give a small accent point to the card. Each element added gives you one more reason to keep looking at this pretty little canvas. The Brushed Brass Butterflies are the finishing touch the card needed to bring it all together.
Did you notice that I colored the die cut flowers with Pool Party and Soft Succulent. I wanted to use our colors in a fun way to draw attention to them. No part of your card should feel forgotten.
When you are making your Color Combo Challenge – March, try using some of your Very Vanilla scrap papers for your die cutting. I really try to not use full sheets to do small die cutting, if at all possible. It makes my craft supplies go farther and makes me feel like I’m getting more for my money.
