Hello My Crafty Friends and welcome the the Color Combo Challenge for the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop! This week, we were to use the colors provided to make our projects. I loved all 5 colors so much I made a card for each! :D
These are 4″ x 4″ note cards perfect of anyone who needs a way to thank someone for a gift or purchase. I didn’t have the ink refill for Shy Shamrock (totally unacceptable, I know), so my butterflies don’t have that in them. I added the gems to make up for it. :D
On each of the cards, I used the same color as the card stock to stamp images around the edges to give the cards a framed look.
To give the butterflies the cool color effect, I used the baby wipe technique. I used all the ink refills (minus the Shy Shamrock) to color a wet baby wipe. Once the colors blended together well, I used it as an ink pad and just stamped the images on my Basic White cardstock.
I added the 2024-2026 In Color™ Shimmer Gems on all 5 cards as well as the Brushed Brass Butterflies. Every card needs accessories and I liked these so much I gave them two different styles.
