Color Combo Stampin’ Up! Blog Hop – November 2020

Hey there Crafty Friends!

It’s time for another Color Combo Blog Hop card! Hopefully, you saw the card before made by Karen Egan.

This month, we are using Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, and Rococo Rose. I added Whisper White for my card base and for the sentiment. The stamp set I used is one of my favorites, Very Versailles. It has a very old-fashioned feel to it, very elegant. I added some linen thread and some champagne rhinestones to spruce it up a little. The folders I used are the Subtle and Script 3D embossing folders. I used the Stitched Rectangles and Stitched Shapes dies to cut out the colored card stock.

To line up the border on the edge on the card base, I used the Stamparatus to line them up, and did the hinge step, named by our CEO Sara Douglas. If you’ve never seen the hinge step, I posted a small video of my husband demoing the process. He was making fun of me because I had ONE drink and was having a hard time pronouncing hinge. It’s really easy, and it’s a fast way to make sure the stamp lines up perfectly to make one continuous line.

Remember, these cards are here to inspire you and give you ideas. Whether you like the colors or the design or the entire card, you are free to CASE (copy and steal everything) I post. I simply ask that you credit me if you repost your creations. And, feel free to send me a pic of anything you make. I’d love to see them!

After you’ve finished here, please take a few minutes to go on to the next card. These ladies are all very creative and would like to show you other ways to use these colors with our stash.

Until next time, Stay Crafty Friends!
