Hello My Crafty Friends!
Here we are in the middle of July and it sure is hot here! I’m not gonna complain because I really hate being cold, so I’m just going to deal with the heat. I see it as a great reason to stay inside and crafting. What a shame.
I’m going to show you the 3rd card of the series for Creativity Now. I really liked putting this one together!
CARD 3 – LET’S CELEBRATE IMPERIAL METRIC
Petal Pink Cardstock card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (score at 4-1/4″)
Basic White Cardstock 3″ x 4-1/2″
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 2-1/2″ x 1″
Four pieces of Designer Series Paper 2-1/2″ x 1-1/2″
Ribbon 12″
I stamped the flower image on the card base. Then I stamped images on the basic white card stock and die cut them out. I layered the DSP in the background. I then stamped the sentiment on the Soft Sea Foam. I put the flowers and the sentiment on with dimensionals. I made a bow with my ribbon and stuck it on with mini glue dots.
I really like my version over the one they had us make, but I’m a little biased.
Next week, I’ll have the final card for you, then I’ll have to come up with a new series for the month of August.
