Hey Crafty Friends!
I thought about the Wonderful Moments stamp set and it just felt right to try making it into a Mother of Pearl card. It didn’t come out the way I wanted, but I still love the look it has. The use of the Shimmer Paint and clear Stampin’ Embossing™ powder really makes it stand out.
Because I loved using the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack to make a few cards, I wanted to use the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories and More card pack to make this card. I love our card packs more and more, now that I’ve been using them for cards. For this card, I used one of the 4×6 cards for the front, and the 3×4 card for the frame inside. I stamped on Whisper White card stock for the bride. I flipped the 3×4 card cut out, to give a back drop. I used a paper plate to pour a very tiny amount shimmer paints and sponged them on the image after coloring it with the blends. Then, I used clear Stampin’ Embossing™ powder to give it a shine. I used the rectangle and oval dies for the framing.
Until next time, Stay Crafty Friends!
