Hello Crafty Friends and welcome to the February 2026 Showcase Challenge! The new March Online Exclusives will be released very soon so I wanted to show off one of the new bundles that I thought was really fun. The Made With Sweetness bundle has two dies in particular that I think will be very popular. They die cut out the shape of folders, one large and one medium sized. I made my card today to show how cute this can be as a card front.

February 2026 Showcase Card

Card Set Up

The very first thing I thought of when I saw the Made with Sweetness bundle was that I would be able to make file folders for my embellishments with both the large and medium file dies. I hadn’t even thought about making cards with it. Wanting to showcase this bundle I figured I would do a combination file folder and card!

I started with a Coastal Cabana cad base. This is a color I don’t use nealy often enough. The greenish blue hue is really different from all the other blues Stampin’ Up!® carries and it’s really quite lovely. It reminds me of sea glass. I cut the card base to the standard card size (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″) and scored at 4 1/4″. I took the large file die and just cut the top edge off the card base. Remember that masking tape can be your best friend for holding dies in place, but it is really sticky once it’s run through the die cutting machine. Remove some of it’s stickiness by pressing in on fabric of some kind.

The Designer Series Paper was cut to fit right below the folder tab, 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″. The Basic White tab is 1/2″ x 3″ and the sentiment is 1″ x 4″ I tied the ribbon on the spool then cut it, so I’m not sure of the length of it. Both sentiments were stamped in Coastal Cabana. Because the Designer Series Paper and the die were the stars of the show, there really wasn’t much else I thought the card needed. Of course I added some bling, Hues of Blue flowers, but they really just blended in with the card. I used an old corner punch to give the edges the rounded look that the die created for the tab. I really do miss that punch!

Inside of Card

The inside of this card is just a simple Basic White card stock that I stamped with flowers from the stamp set. I should have added some of the gorgeous DSP to the other side of the folder, but I didn’t want to overdo the card. I really do love simple cards and I like to remind people it’s ok not to have a ton of layers. Simple can work just fine.
