Hello my Crafty Partners in Creativity and welcome to the February’s POTM blog hop. Stampin’ Up! started a new promotion. Every month, if you purchase $75 US in product, you can purchase the Product of the Month for $5. January’s Product of the Month was the Fabulous Sayings stamp set.

I made this card to show off the product of the month as well as the new Stampin’ Positioner. I have added the flyer to show you how to get your own for free!

February’s POTM card

Front of card

The card base is the lovely In Color Peach Pie that will be retiring in May. I used Peach Pie and Pretty In Pink ink on both the card base and the card front. I love making backgrounds for stamp sets that have only sentiments. The sentiments don’t always have to be the main focus of the card.

Using the step arm on the Stampin’ Postioner, I made the card front. I alternated between the Peach Pie and the Pretty In Pink, skipping every other spot and went back to fill in the spaces.

I didn’t have any Peach Pie ribbon, so I used the Dark Peach Pie blends on the Basic Beige Classic Ribbon. The great thing about light ribbons is that you can make them any color you have using the blends and it keeps you from having to have a ton of ribbon on hand.

The pretty little gems on the card are from 2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t used them until now.

Looking inside the card

Because this is a more simple card, I left the inside simple as well. One little sentiment stamped at the top was good enough, in my opinion!

Pass it on

Because this card would take 10 minutes or less to make, it would be a great one to mass produce and have on hand for that time when you just need to send a little note to someone. Have fun and play with the colors, or change up the sentiments. It’s a very easy card to recreate!
