Hello my Crafty Friends!
So glad to have you back! I hope your week was excellent and that you got some great crafting time in. I had my grand babies all week, so luckily I had some cards already done before hand to show off. Otherwise, this would be just me sitting here talking your ears off about how cute the babies are and how much I love them. I wouldn’t mind, but you might get that look one gets when a grandmother gets gushy about the babies. lol
Anyhow… here’s the card I made for the hubby when I decided to pull out the Hats Off Bundle. Jay saw this and had to have it, but I beat him to using it! It’s only fair, since he opened my box before I could get to it.
For this card, I used Gray Granite for the background. Because we are Longhorn fans, I used the Pumpkin Pie and Very Vanilla for the colors of the hat to match the actual Longhorns hat he has.
I am loving the Hats Off Bundle. That die set is really cute. The best part of it is that you can line up your stamps pretty easy with the dies and get a great image within the lines. The other things that is great is the choices for the different labels for the hat front.
I think this will be a dad favorite, but I can see lots of other uses for it, mixing and matching stamp sets to add cute little images and sayings.
Tell me what you think would be a really cute stamp to add to the front of the hat? Think birthdays, baby showers, graduations, or even congrats on the new job.
Until next time, have a great week and I hope you find some good crafting time!!!
Until next time, Stay Crafty Friends!
