Ink Blending Technique Card

Welcome to the Ink Blending Technique blog hop with the Stamping with Friends hoppers.

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome to the Ink Blending Technique Challenge.

For today’s card, we’re showing Ink Blending Techniques. This technique is one that I tend to forget about, but it really makes a big impact on the card though.

Ink Blending Card

Card Set Up

The card base is my standard 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, but I scored at 2 1/8″ and 2 1/8″. I like to shake things up from time to time! haha

For the front of the card, I took 2 2″ x 5 1/4″ pieces of Basic White card stock and used my blending brushes to make the background card front.

I die cut all 3 images from the Poetic Petals die set using the Luxe Foliage Specialty Designer Series Paper. It’s this month’s Product of the Month. After die cutting the images, I glued them to Basic White card stock to help them stand out. I glued them to the edges so they overlapped the other flaps. The Secret Sea flap closes the card.

I love that the Dewdrop Embellishments fit so well with this card! They were the perfect bling.

Inside the Card

The inside of this card was super simple. I just added the Basic White card stock and stamped the sentiment on the top. That’s it.

See y’all next week with a brand new challenge. I hop you enjoy the rest of the projects in the hop this week!
