Hello my Crafty Friends! I hope this week finds you well. Jay and I have been fighting off allergies this week, and it’s been so much fun. That’s why this is a few days late. I have been doing a little here and there, but not enough to get this written in time. But, here it is, better late than never!
This week, I wanted to do a few Fall themed cards, so I used the Gather Together Bundle from the 2020 Mini Catalog. I love Fall, and this set just called my name! It has both leaves and pumpkins. Just perfect! I loved making a few cards with this color scheme and bundle. It was great seeing how different they turned out.

I wanted to make a card with no embellishments, little in the way of extras. I wanted this one to be minimal expense for a new crafter. Sometimes, I need to go back to the basics and remember what it felt like when I started and didn’t have a lot of money to buy so many crafting supplies. Yes, the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss would be a big buy for a beginner, but I bought one after the first time I used one. The options that become available are worth the expense.
The embossing folders, Woodland and Subtle, that I used are very affordable and last forever, if treated kindly! The only items that are consumable items are the paper and the adhesives. I mean, the ink is too, but it will last almost forever if cared for well. The point is, with just a few items, you can make a bunch of different cards with very little investment.
Until next time, Stay Crafty Friends!
