Welcome to the Masculine Cards blog hop.

Hello and welcome to the Masculine Cards Challenge! This month we are challenged to make cards for the guys in our life. This tends to be a hard challenge for a lot of ladies. We tend to struggle to make cards with a masculine flare to them. The Nature’s Walk Suite is really great for this.

What I used

I have labeled the items I used for my card.

Outside Card

The card base for this card is Balmy Blue cardstock. I cut it to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, creased at 4 1/4″. I stamped the line image on the edges of the card base using the Secret Sea Classic Stampin’ Pad.

The card front is a combination of the Cream Natural Hues Textured Specialty Paper and the Pretty Peacock Nature Walk Designer Series Paper. I die cut out the leave image from the Cream paper and then lined it up with the Pretty Peacock DSP and stamped the image through the hole using the Stampin’ Positioner. To dress up the front, I stamped the line image in Basic Beige on the Cream paper. I wrapped some Secret Sea Bordered Open Weave ribbon around the card front and added it to the card base with dimensionals.

Inside of Card

I decided to keep it easy inside the card. I added a 1/2″ strip of DSP to the side of some Basic White Card stock. Simple, but effective!
