Hey Crafty Friends! It’s so good to have you back for yet another blog hop! These are so much fun, and I really love seeing what everyone else come up with.
This month’s theme for this group (I’m in three, in case you were wondering) is Anything but a card using Sale-a-bration items. I got to admit I struggled a bit with this one. I am not great at the 3D items, they just aren’t my thing. I am a perfectionist and many times I can’t get things lined up right and it frustrates me to no end! lol So, I did something not a card that wasn’t a 3D item either, a bookmark! There is always a work around that falls within the boundaries.
When I decided what I wanted to make, picking the Stamp set was easy. I love the Friendly Hello Stamp set and since it is starting to warm up a bit here, I wanted to do a craft that welcomed Spring.
I used Daffodil Delight card stock as the bookmark backing. It is on both, but I forgot the measure the punch width and had to cut the first one down. Lesson learned. Then, I took the Basic White card stock and stamped the Hello Friend first, then decorated around it with the stamps that just spoke to me. I used the Daffodil Delight for the words, then I used Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green for the rest. I loved how the dots came out. Sometimes, I really hate naked space, this was one of those times. I finished it off with the Scalloped Lace Trim.
I hope you liked these little not card work a-rounds! ;) Next, you’ll be heading over to ‘s blog. I look forward to seeing you again for the next post and I pray that you have good health and a blessed day!
Until then, Stay Crafty, My Friends!
