Have you ever had a bad day and just need a little something to brighten your day or mood, well the Sending Sunshine stamp set will do just that.
There’s so much that can be done with this set! Maybe a night scene would be amazing. I knew for my first time playing with this set, I was gonna do a sunset.
When I saw this stamp set in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, it brought back memories of a time when we were in Ireland. One memory in particular was a picture we took.
There was a relaxing lake hidden behind some trees. The sun was setting for the evening and Jay had enough time to photograph it as the sun went behind a hill. It was so beautiful.
My card is pretty close to that wonderful scene – but I’m going to keep trying. I need to find the picture for comparison.
The colors I used are Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Garden Green and Pacific Point.
Here’s a tip – To create visual depth for the water scene- Start by stamping the large water image in the lightest color of ink. Then stamp the smaller water image in a darker color.
There’s so much that can be done with this set! A night scene or just use the sentiments with another stamp set in your collection.
