Hello my Crafty Friends! It’s so good to see you again!! Today’s card is one I did just because I wanted to play with the In Colors that aren’t retiring. I felt they needed a little love because everyone is all about the retiring ones and the new colors coming out. I truly love to support the underdog.

Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen are going to go down as 2 of my all time favorite colors to create with. Look how well they complement each other. Add a little brass or gold and they sing.
This card was super simple, and only took a few minutes to put together, but I’ll walk you though it.
The card base is cut to the standard 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and folded at 4 1/4″. I cut the Soft Succulent to 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and ran it through the Cut & Emboss with the Hammered Metal embossing folder. The Basic White is cut to 3 1/2 x 4 1/2″ as well, then I used the largest die from the Stitched So Sweetly die set. I cut the ribbon to 4 1/4″ and used Seal to tape it to the card front. I placed the Soft Succulent at an angle. Next, I stamped the sentiment on the Basic White card stock and added it to the card. I added the butterflies last. That’s it. Simple, but makes an awesome statement.
Let me know what you think about this one by leaving me a comment. I’d love to know what kind of cards you want to see, so I can create a better experience for you.
Until next time. Stay Crafty My Friends!
