Hello My Crafty Friends!
I created this little set for my better half’s 50th Birthday, which is the 28th of this month. I wanted something cute that really spoke to his masculine side. My plan is to find something fun to put in the box and have him find it the morning of his birthday. I thought keys to a “new to him” classic car would be cool, but he already bought himself one of those! lol Now, I have to get creative!
I decided to give you the measurements and directions to make this card as a gift to you from us! There are other gifts coming… so, check in often! You only turn 50 once, and it should be a blow out celebration! There will be prizes for participants and discounts on orders. But, that’s enough hints! See you again really soon!
Until next time,
Stay Crafty, Friends!

Measurements
Box –
He’s the Man DSP – 7″ x 7″; 5″ x 5″
Die cuts for top of box
Card –
He’s the Man DSP – 3″ x 2″
Cajun Craze – 3″ x 6″
Very Vanilla – 2 1/2″ x 2″; 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
Instructions –
Box –
Follow the template in the photo to cut out and score the bottom of the box from your chosen sheet of DSP from the He’s the Man DSP pack.
Glue the edges together using the Multi-Purpose glue pen. It has enough give to let you settle the paper in place before sticking.
Cut the top of the box and crease it according to the photo for this step. Again, use the Multi-Purpose Glue.
Pick the die cuts you want to use for the top of your box and pop them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals™. Finally, add some Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to the corners of the box.
Card –
Cut the Cajun Craze card stock to 6″ x 3″, creasing at 3″.
Cut a piece of the previously used DSP to 2″ x 3″ and run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing folder.
Cut a piece of Very Vanilla to 2″ x 2 1/2″ and run it through the machine with the label die from the All That die set. Then, stamp it with the sentiment of your choice from the He’s All That stamp set using Crushed Curry.
Cut a strip of Whisper White Frayed Ribbon about 4″ long and tape it to the DSP strip. Using mini Dimensionals™, Stick it to the card base.
Add the sentiment label to the card using mini Stampin’ Dimensionals™, placing them towards the middle of the label so they don’t stick to the card base, just the DSP strip.
Finish the card off with the Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots and a Very Vanilla sentiment square for the inside of the card.
