Hello Lovely Friends!
Today is another raining day, trying to fool me into thinking Fall is here. Well, it inspired me to make a really fun card. I haven’t done this fold before, but it really wasn’t as difficult as it looked. I would recommend moving it a little more center on the card though. I didn’t because I put my adhesive on BEFORE I thought about placement and the tape would have stuck to the card backing and that would not have been good. So, as I’ve preached many times in my classes, mistakes are just excuses for creativity. I moved it over, added the leaves and a paper ribbon on the edge. It looks great, in my opinion!
So, after seeing the card from earlier in the week, what do you thing of this one? Does it help to see different kinds of cards made with the same materials?
I decided to change things a little. I took one product off this card, and added another. I used the Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends for the pumpkins. I thought it would help to see that you can mix and match a little to use other supplies that you might have on hand. Last week, I used a different embossing folder on the second card to show the same thing. Just little tweaks here and there to see what can be done with the same materials and few small additions or subtractions to show versatility.
Next week, be ready for some pretty flowers and maybe a great 3D project!
Until then, Friends, Happy Crafting!!!
