Elegantly Said

Hello Crafting Friends!

This week has been a pretty productive week for my crafting. I have managed to make a few cards, clean my work desk out, create thank you gifts for my eBay customers, and label all my new sets from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Oh, and I have been working on my online classes. (Want more info on those? Stay tuned for an announcement on the first of many classes teaching the uses of many of our products.)

I recently got my first order from the new catalog and decided to make a card with each of the sets I ordered. (I only got 3 this time, but don’t fool yourself, there will be many more.) Today’s example card uses the Elegantly Said stamp set. I don’t know about you, but this set just called my name from the second I saw it.

The artwork on this set reminds me of why I fell in love with this company. The I am generally not a flowery type of girl. However, there is something about this set that just makes me giddy. Take a moment and read each of the saying in this set. How could you not need them all?!

Because I already had out the In Colors Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent, I just added Mint Macaron for an accent. I stuck with Very Vanilla because it just seemed perfect for the antiqued look I was going for. I added the Shimmer Ribbon, because, well, why not?

This card literally took me about 10 minutes to create, from design to finished product. I love stamp sets that make creating quick and easy.

The next set I’m using is the Hats Off Stamp Set with the coordinating dies. Surprisingly, it was another set that was easy to create with and the ideas just flowed. I’ll post it later this week. I don’t want to overwhelm you with too many fun cards all at once! lol

Until then, Stay Crafty, My Friends!
