Hello Crafty Friends!
Well, it’s the new year and I’m here with a few new products! 😀 The new 2022 Mini Catalog is now active as well as the 2022 January – February Sale-A-Bration catalog. Y’all, I am so excited about this catalog. I tried to only order a few sets to get started, but I sorta went crazy. Here’s hoping I managed to pick the ones that will be carry over’s for the next Annual Catalog. 😀
Today’s project that you’re here to see is a sketch challenge from my blog hop Stamping With Friends. We were given a card sketch and had to make a card that matched that sketch. Below is the sketch. It wasn’t too difficult to pick my colors and get the papers cut. The hard part was picking which new stamp set I wanted to use! 😀 I went with the Honeybee Home set. There is a coordinating die set for this set, Honeybee Blooms.
Once I picked my stamp set, I got to assembling the card. The card base is Basic White. The first layer is Garden Green, the second layer is Mint Macaron, and the third layer is Basic White again. I used Garden Green for the banner piece and Basic White for the Bumblebee. I used both Garden Green and Mint Macaron inks for the flower, and Memento Black for the bumblebees, coloring it in with the Light So Saffron Stampin’ Blend. I cut out the banner bumblebee with the coordinating dies and adhered it with a dimensional.
After you’ve finished taking a look at my rendition of this sketch, please follow on to the next demo by clicking the large NEXT block. You’ll be hopping right along to the other demos who’ve taken part in this challenge. 😀
Until next time, keep crafting and making something beautiful every day! Happy Crafting, Friends!
