Paper Crafting Blog Hop

Paper Crafting Blog Hop

Hello Crafting Friends! This is the Paper Crafting Blog Hop where demonstrators from the US, Australia, and the UK all participate each month showing off such wonderful and varied talents!

This month’s project challenge was anything from the new January – February Sale-A-Bration catalog or a birthday card. I decided to do a birthday card featuring a new set from the SAB catalog, Friendly Hello. I used Real Red Card Stock for the base of my card. The tags are cut out of Misty Moonlight and Basic White Card Stock using the Tailor Made Tags dies. I used the Real Red, Misty Moonlight, and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers to color the bird stamp. I love the look it gives a card when the stamp is colored instead of just the inside of the image. The sentiments are done with Real Red and Misty Moonlight. I added some of the Denim Ribbon and the Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon on the tags finished it with the Pearl embellishments. This set has 13 fabulous images and all of them can be used individually or combined for an even more fancy card. I love the versatility of it!

Until next time, stay crafty and make the world a little more beautiful than you found it! πŸ˜€ Thanks for joining this hop and I’ll see you soon! Click the big NEXT button to visit the next demo’s blog and see their wonderful creation!

If you are in the market for a new Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and like what you see here, I’d be honored to be at your service. I love hosting in person classes, I do online classes, and I can make PDF tutorials to follow at home at your own pace. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to hear more.

Also, if you’re in need of a catalog, I ship them free of charge after a $20 purchase on my website. This helps me with the cost of the catalog and the shipping fees.

  1. Love the different colours for your card – sometimes I get caught in using the same colours as the coordinating DSP!! And the multicoloured stamped bird is just soo sweet!!! Totally stunning!!

  2. A great card layout with the tags in front and behind the bird image! And the direct-to-marker coloring on the bird is a great way to “color” without a lot of coloring.
