2022-2023 Annual Catalog · Dies · Embossing Cards

Sending Sunshine

Hey there again, Crafty Friends!

I can’t get enough of the new Good Feelings Cling stamp set. It really is so much fun to create with. I have seem all the past large sentiment stamps and never got a single one. Now, I’m so sorry I didn’t!

Stampin’ Up! holds an event each April ahead of the release of the new Annual Catalog. When we signed up for this year’s event, we were sent a stamp set at random. I got the Good Feelings set. I couldn’t be more thrilled! It’s perfect!

I made a card the other day with this set, but it didn’t come out the way I wanted it to. So, I remade it the way I had intended for the first one to look. I’m glad I did, it turned out pretty nice.

This is such a simple card, and it really didn’t take much time to put together. I embossed the sentiment with Copper embossing powder on the DSP, then die cut out 3 rectangles. The first rectangle is glued down with glue dots, the second has one layer of dimensionals, and the inside rectangle is help down with 2 layers of dimensionals. I added the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish it off. That’s it. Not much to it. Simple cards can still make a statement, without having a ton of work put in to it!

I’ll be back very soon with some great retiring In Color cards! I hope to see you here!

Until then, Stay Crafty Friends!
