OK, here we are at the end of the series on Creativity Now. Y’all, everyone of these cards were a joy to make, both my version and theirs. I think the most fun I had was trying to guess what they were going to make before the event.
CARD 4 – TODAY IS A DAY TO REMEMBER IMPERIAL METRIC
Basic White Cardstock card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (score at 4-1/4″)
Calypso Coral Cardstock 2″ x 5/8″
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 3-3/4″ x 4-1/2″
Three pieces of Designer Series Paper 1-1/4″ x 2″
For this card, I used the Petal Pink Stampin’ Ink pad to stamp the leaf image on the card base. I stamped another leaf image on the Soft Sea Foam card stock and shadowed it once. I added the bumblebee using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the sentiment on the small Calypso Coral card stock using the Basic White Craft Ink and used dimensionals to stick it to the card front. I die cut the flowers out of the three pieces of the Designer Series Paper and I used glue dots to stick them on the card front. I added the card front to the card base using Stampin’ Seal. Done!
On the card designed for us, we used the designer series paper from the previous card as a frame for the cut out leaf stems and embossed the stamped image in White.
Both cards were simple but with lots of details to get your attention.
Now, it’s time to create another series. Come back next week to see what I’ve come up with!
