Hey there Crafty Friends!
A few months ago, I signed up for the Creativity Now event that Stampin’ Up! set up for demonstrators. Stampin’ Up! sent us the dimensions for the cards we would be creating to let us get prepped early instead of having to cut as we were creating. I love being prepped for all my events, so I got busy cutting my cardstock and DSP. When I was cutting the paper, I got a fun idea. I would cut an extra set to make my own card that would use all the materials we were told to have on hand.
Today’s post is my version of Card 1 from the Creativity Now event that Stampin’ Up! held for demonstrators a couple of weeks ago. I am posting a picture of my card next to Stampin’ Up!’s design.
To make my card, I stamped the leaf image on the card base. I then added the DSP on top of the card base with the Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the two larger images on the Basic White card stock and the extra Soft Sea Foam cardstock they had us cut. I cut the taco shapeout and stamped the sentiment on it in Soft Sea Foam, then added the leafs to the DSP with glue dots and the taco shape with dimensionals. I added the ribbon with glues dots as well, then dressed it up with the Faux Sea Shapes for a little bling.
