Welcome to the December Color Combo Challenge – Planted Paradise Sneak Peek card blog.
For this card, I simply stamped the planter and leaves on a separate sheet of Basic White card stock and cut them out. I stamped the planter on the card base and added the cut out over it with dimensionals. Next, I added three of the leaves on the card base and two I added with dimensionals to give some depth. Adding the ropes for the planter was a little more tricky than I thought it would be. I can’t line things up to save my life. lol See the butterfly at the top? That is to hide that I totally missed my mark! Next, I stamped it in Night of Navy and cut it out, then added it with multipurpose glue.
I didn’t add any bling to this card, because I didn’t feel it needed it. Sometimes, a simple card is all that is needed and it really was the case here. I added an inside layer with 2 butterflies stamped at the bottom to finish it off.
That’s it! This card should only take a few minutes to CASE. Sometimes, it’s nice to have blank cards just as back ups in case you have a situation there is no sentiment for.
I hope that you enjoyed this and I can’t wait to see you back here again soon!
