Hello Crafty Friends!
I was working on my Facebook posts yesterday and got the itch to make a new card. I really wanted something fun to add to my page and a really great card to show off the Gilded Leafing and the Gold Embossing powder.
I used the Tear & Tape adhesive for the gilded leafing. Using the sticky of the tape, I pressed the leafing into the tape and used a stiff bristled paint brush to remove any excess. For the flowers, I used the Versamark and embossing gold powder.
For the center area, I used a plain piece of paper to keep the space clear for the Poppy and sentiment. The inside flower was stamped with Poppy Parade for the flowers and the VersaMark for the stem. Because the ink was still damp, the embossing powder stuck to the Poppy Parade and created a shadowed effect on the flowers
This card took about an hour to design and actually construct, but that was with getting up to get sippy cups and snacks for my grandson, who doesn’t not appreciate crafting near as much as I do! lol I hope that you liked this card as much as I enjoyed making it!
Till next times,
