Hello Friends! I am so sorry it’s been a bit since I posted. I have been full time baby sitting our youngest grand daughter and schooling our 5 year old grand daughter one or two days a week. I hasn’t left much time for crafting, let alone posting the results! But, I’ve loved every single second! 😀
Today, Jason left town for 4 days to go to his sister’s wedding. I’m going to use this time wisely and making as many cards as possible. It’s a crafter’s weekend dream! That being said… I have a little sneak peek card made from the new Quite Curvy bundle that will be available November 3rd until January 4th.
For this card, I used the Old Olive card stock and ink pad, Granny Apple Green card stock, Balmy Blue card stock, Grey Granite card stock and ink pad, and Whisper White card stock. I used the So Saffron, Purple Posy, Night of Navy, and Calypso Coral Blends to color the birds.
I got the Granny Apple Green card stock cut first, thinking I was going to just do it with the Balmy Blue card base. Then, I decided that I really wanted a wall for the birdies to sit on. Then, I wanted them to be able to hide a little and look more natural, so I added the leaves. I just love when a card develops on it’s own, with only a little bit of an idea what I’m planning. Less brain power needed, which is a good think. The older I get, the less brain power I seem to have! haha
I loved accenting the inside Whisper White writing section. It felt like it was making the message more focused on. I always forget to do the inside, so I was happy with just doing it, but the way it looks really makes me smile!
What do you think? Is this a bundle that you would love to own? For me, it was a no brainer. I had to have it, and it certainly did not disappoint!
