Hello Crafty Friends and welcome to the Sept – Jan Quarterly Catalog Blog Hop.

I, honestly, have only ordered the one suite from the catalog so far. I placed a larger order for the hot foil items and forgot all about the new catalog! So, you get to see the same suite, using different paper and stamps! haha

Sept – Jan Quarterly Catalog Card

Front of card

The card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″. I used Golden Glow card stock for the base. Both of the card front pieces are cut from the Designer Series Paper. One is 4′ x 5 1/4″ and the other is 3″ x 4 1/4″. The image is stamped using Secret Sea and I colored it in using the shimmer brushes. The flower centers were colored in using the Bronze Blending Brush.

Once I finished coloring this image, I die cut it and added it with dimensionals. The butterfly is also stamped with Secret Sea as is the sentiment. The leaves are stamped with Peaceful Pine. I added the butterfly with a dimensional over some of the flower that had some bleeding from coloring it. (See, no mistakes, just excuses for embellishments). I added the ribbon to finish off the card.

Inside the Card

The inside of this card is a little different for me. I don’t usually add die cut images inside my cards. This one needed a little dressing up to go with the DSP strip. I simply die cut the flowers out of the Golden Glow card stock and die cut the lower centers from the DSP.
