Welcome! Let me introduce myself! My name is Mickey and I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator since 2008. I signed up mostly for the discount. That quickly changed when I realized my habit was bigger than any discount could help. At the time, we were stationed in Germany for a 5 year tour at Ramstein AB. I had a pretty good customer base. I really loved teaching new crafters how to use our products as well as just bring out their creative side.
After moving to Nebraska in 2009, that changed. I have mostly been a hobby demonstrator and have had very few classes and customers. The main reason I put my business on hold was so I could focus on my culinary arts degree. Right before graduating, we found out our youngest daughter was going to have our second grand baby, Willow. I chose to stay home to help care for her while our daughter worked to support herself and Willow. I’ve never been so tired in all my life! lol Was parenting really this hard the first time around? I didn’t remember the amount of energy that a child can have. It never ends. With everything I was putting into her and part time jobs, I knew I couldn’t run my business properly.
Willow is in school now, giving me time to focus on my business again! I’ve even been able to talk my my husband into start working with my in his spare time. He claims he loves it, but I think he loves me and is willing to do whatever makes me happy. Him joining me a few years ago to Salt Lake City for our convention was the turning point for him. He saw how much I loved this and saw it as a way for us to spend time together . It didn’t hurt that he was one of maybe 5 guys there, and loved the attention. It’s a win/win! And, that’s when Moore Fun Stampin’ evolved into 2 Moore Stampers.
This blog is my way to get back into my business and really start taking on new classes and clients. I’m excited to get going again and get back to teaching others about my love of crafting. If you’d like to take that journey with me, follow this blog Facebook and Instagram. Also, please comment on blog posts to let me know what you like and what you’d like to see more of.
Due to the Coronavirus situation, I am attempting to move my business online. I’ll be posting class PDF’s that are for sale and other specials that are run straight from me to you. Thanks for your understanding and continued support.
