It’s been a minute since I posted a card, and I’ve missed you. Life really needs to stop getting in the way of my fun time. 😀
How many of you have heard of the book “The Wonkey Donkey”? My granddaughter, Willow, loves that book and I have been reading it to her for 2 years now. I have been hoping for a donkey stamp set for that long and it’s finally here! The Darling Donkeys (Item # 155264) stamp set is a wonderful addition to any parent/grandparents stamp collections, and the best part is it’s FREE with a $50 purchase from the Annual Catalog or the coming 2021 January to June mini catalog!
Because this set isn’t available until January, I can’t post the links for purchase, but I can post the other materials I used to make this. The card base is the Cinnamon Cider card stock, the ink is Cinnamon Cider ink pad, the sentiment is on Whisper White card stock, I used the 2020-2022 In Colorâ„¢ Designer Series Paper for the accent, a little bit of Wink of Stella®, and finally the Early Espresso Faux Suede trim.
The donkey that I used has 4 legs, so I used a tissue to remove the ink off the front leg, and stamped the image. I used Wink of Stella® to give the little stars a shine. The embossing folder, Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, is also from the new Mini. It’s my favorite one in the entire catalog. It really stands out and you have got to see it when you use the blending brushes on it to highlight the texture! Stunning!
